VARCO 720 – a durable boat with a carefully considered design

The VARCO 720 is a spacious work and transport boat, approved for up to 8 people. The spacious, open deck provides plenty of room for passengers and cargo and is well suited to demanding work at sea.

The idea behind the boat is simple: a hard-wearing boat that requires little maintenance and is easy to repair. The hull is built from welded HDPE profiles in a clinker-style construction. The combination of tough HDPE material and the shape of the profiles creates a highly impact-resistant structure. The sealed profiles act as built-in buoyancy chambers, providing additional buoyancy.

HDPE plastic does not rust or require painting. The surfaces are easy to clean, and any damage can be repaired by plastic welding. The material can be reused and recycled, which has been a central consideration throughout development.

The boat is manufactured in Finland. The layout and equipment can be adapted to suit its intended use.
