At Erco-Mek Ab, we’ve taken a major step forward – we have now manufactured our very first boat prototype made of HDPE plastic!
The prototype marks the beginning of our venture into boat manufacturing and is being used for testing and further development ahead of future models.
Our goal is to create durable, safe, and low-maintenance boats that can withstand Nordic conditions and demanding use – whether for professional work, transport, or leisure.
HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is a durable, corrosion-free, and environmentally friendly material, making it ideal for boats designed for demanding environments.
With this initiative, we combine our expertise in metal and plastic construction with a strong commitment to developing practical and long-lasting solutions for life on the water.
The project has been granted support by the European Union (EURA 2021–2027).
